I also had to change the VM's SCSI Controller Type from LSI Logic SAS to LSI Logic in order to read the contents of the floppy. Nonetheless, even though the drives showed up and read the floppy, I still received the message I needed drivers, so I guess I have to match the driver closer to the actual device on the G5. Download the latest drivers for your HP ProLiant DL380 G6. Keep your computer up to date. The overall impression regarding building storage system on HP ProLiant DL380 G7 is miserable. As expected HP Smart Array P410i is not supporting RAID6 and it is not transparent to operating system i.e. HDDs will be visible to operating system only as logical devices after they are configured in controller.

I need to updated the drivers the chipset, display, IPMI Interface, base system device, and the NIC drivers. Do you all know where I can find these at? My chipset is an Intel L5520/X58 chipset? The IPMI and base system device drivers seem not to exist.

We dont support enterprise products here but I found what you need.
Refer to the ILO 2 device Crush step 1 pdf download torrent.
Make sure you're installing the latest ILO 2 'management interface driver' and 'management controller driver'. For example:

Help w/ DL380 G6 and Server 2016
Hey guys. So two quick questions. I am looking for anybody out there with DL380 G6’s that are running Server 2016. I ordered some SSDs (Crucial MX300’s) to replace my mechanical sas drives. I am doing 2 275gbs in Raid 1 for the OS and two 525 gbs in Raid 1 for the VMs. Now I am currently running Server 2016 on my host and all VMs right now. When I initially installed it I was getting an issue when I tried to access files on my SA120 which is connected through ext SAS (this is changing soon. I have an r510 coming which I am installing freenas on). There would be random pockets of lag. For example, I would click a folder and it would hang for like 15 – 20 sec and then open or if I was playing a movie file directly from the das, it would occasionally stop for 15 sec or so and then continue playing. Now I posted here on home lab and through your guys help did mostly get around that problem. Jealous of the angels jenn bostic free download. As far as I can tell, there are no Server 2016 drivers for this server. So I downloaded the 2012 R2 NIC drivers and forced that in. It’s a lot better now but I still do occasionally get hiccup like I mentioned above.
Now all the other drivers on here just whatever Microsoft installed when I installed the OS other than the iLO driver. For example, my video driver currently says Microsoft basic display driver. To get drivers for some of these devices I would have to download the old drivers (as far back as 2008 R2 because they don’t have drivers for everything in 2012 on hp’s site). Are there any DL380 G6 owners that installed 2016 and have it working well? What did you do for drivers? Or should I not even bother with 2016 and just go back to 2012 R2?
Last question is about nic teaming for Hyper-V. Currently I keep one nic on my 380 separate which is the management port. The other three nics I have setup in a port channel on my cisco 2960-s switch. These three are my hyper-v virtual switch. When I configured the NIC team in windows, I set it up as static teaming and dynamic load balancing (I read here and a few other places online that dynamic is the best choice). My question is what about LACP. My switch supports link aggregation protocols, LACP included. My question is which is better? Would it be better (for performance and such) to have the nic team configured as LACP and then set that up on the switch or is static teaming a better choice? Or is there really no difference? I have tried to research this online but I can’t find any information on what the advantages/disadvantages of running one of these two over the other.
I appreciate any advice you can give. Thank you for your time and help.
